How to upload a series of products massively?

LogiCommerce 8.5 allows the massive importation of basic products through an Excel file in order to create the products of our eCommerce rapidly.

To do so we need to go to:

> TOOLS > Import / Export

We will select the Basic product import icon. In this case we are going to select Basic import template. It is very important to read the attached manual, because there are all the details of how the importation process works.

In case we have several active languages, we need to import as many Excel sheets as languages we have. Each of those sheets has to be filled in a certain language, which has to be selected before starting the importation process in the pull-down menu Select the import language. If the selected language does not correspond to the one we used to fill in the Excel sheet, the system will as well link that content to the chosen language, and it will not be correctly shown in the FrontOffice.

If the product already exists in the ecommerce, that massive process will update it with the data in the Excel sheet. So it is possible to use this tool to update prices, for example..

The basic product import makes it possible to fill in particular fields of the product card. The Import catalog tool allows the creation of products in a more advanced way, apart from other elements in the catalog.
