The name of the promotion will be stated.

The different conditions under which ePoints will be earnt will be set. In the example, the promotion will have some eligible products to earn ePoints. In the conditions wizard, we will add the By amount rule.

In the Add epoint rule window, we will choose the option Each X € will earn Z ePoints and we will choose the different activation and expiration date, where want to allow the earning of ePoints and the priority value in case there exist many rules. For this example, we will set that for each 5€spent, the user will get 2 ePoints.

Finally, we will set the categories and products that will be eligible for this rule

In case we want our customer to be informed about the addition or subtraction of their ePoints balance, it is possible to program an automatic email. See How can I create automatic notification emails?.

On the other hand, it will be necessary to define the way the user can spend ePoints. In order to do so, in the Spend ePoints window, we will define a condition to specify the behaviour to execute the ePoints balance. Select + Add conditions and we will select an activity period. In case we leave these fields blank, it will mean that this condition will always apply.

In the last step we will define the policy to spend ePoints. In the example, it has been set that for each 100 earnt ePoints, the users will get a 2€ discount.

We will set that this disount can only apply to a specific set of products.

We select if the ePoints policy affects a specific set of users or all the users or if the policy affects a set of countries or areas.
