What are sections?

The Sections area allows the creation and edition of sections to relate different elements of our eCommerce between themselves. These relationships or recommendations are established following a specific criteria, which can be manual (the criteria is established by the administrator) or automatic through an external recommendation service, which, in this case sets the algorithm from the business offering the service.

The creation of sections helps users by showing them related, similar or complementary products to the ones the user is browsing in our website or in the shopping cart. In the same way, this extra information can be displayed in pages or posts related to the content a user is accessing at a given time.

When the relationship/recommendation system is external, it must be hired so to be operative.
