What are the Relationship types?

Sections can be set in different areas:

  • Product: This section type is set when we need to display related or complementary elements when browsing the view of a product. If the system is set on manual, for each product that needs to have related elements, it will be necessary to set them in its profile.

To do so, we will have to edit the product and click on the Related Products icon in the upper part of the window. Once inside, the previously created sections will be displayed in different tabs. To add elements to a specific one, it will be enough to drag and drop the element from the desired area to the selected section.
  • Category: This section type is set when we need to display certain related or complementary elements when browsing a specific category.

If the system is set on manual, for each category that needs to display relationships, we will have to set those relationships in the element’s profile. To do so, we will proceed in the same way as we did in the products type.
  • Page: This section type is set when we need to display related or complementary elements when we are browsing a page.

If the system is set on manual, for each category that needs to display relationships, we will have to set those relationships in the element’s profile. To do so, we will proceed in the same way as we did above.
  • Post: If our eCommerce has a Blog, we can also relate its different publications in different post sections.

If the system is set on manual, for each category that needs to display relationships, we will have to set those relationships in the element’s profile. To do so, we will proceed in the same way as we did above.
